There aint no mountain low enough

Ok. I complain a lot about how much work I've got at the moment. And people politely ask me when I finish. "May 20th", I answer. "Oh really, that's really soon! I finish June 5th, so I guess you don't have it that bad, eh?". YES I DO! Do you realise how much shit I've got left? And that time is of essence makes the whole thing a lot worse, I have as much work to do as everyone else, with the exception that I have everything all at once. Still don't understand? Imagine this:

I'm climbing a mountain. As I'm reaching the top: "I can see the top! Yes! Not more than 50 meters away now, NICE! Oh, what's this? It's snowing a little bit. Fine. Oh, wait. A snowstorm? COME ON! I'm so close!"

"Ok, be cool, be cool, ice cold. Brr, it's actually really cold now. Ok, I'll wait it out. Wait, what? A hungry maneating lion riding on a horse? For f*cks sake.. And it looks like it's aiming for me, why?? Because I'm the only one on this stupid mountain of course. Oh well, let's fight then, horse-lion"

"Wait, W to the H to the AT? A dragon with steel armour? How is that even possible?! Ok ok, come join the fun if you must. Argh, and I'm so close to the top"

"Oh hello Darth Vader, I was wondering where you were."

"And you brought your mate Godzilla? Brilliant"

"Sorry, what's that? 'One-Eye' Sauron has been evicted from his tower in Barad-dûr becuase some hobbits complained, and has moved in to this mountain top instead? Wonderful. Thanks"

"Wait a minute everyone, someone's calling"

"Yo, how's it going?" "Hi man, I know I complain a lot, but shit pommes frites, I've got so much shit at the moment." "Oh really? I thought you were close to the top?" "Well, yeah, I am, like 50 meters away, but..." "That's nothing! I've got like 600 meters left to walk until I'm at the beach, it's sooo far away! And it's raining! At least you only have 50 meters, it's not that bad!" "Mm, yeah, right.. Gotta go, have some stuff to attend to.."

Note 1: I know people are just trying to cheer me up when they say that, and it does help.

Note 2: Two essays handed in today, last coursework ever! Only 2 exams and 1 presentation left. So, I guess that's the Dragon, Sauron and the Lion?

Note 3: People in the UK, get out and VOTE! (I was actually allowed to vote here, despite the fact that I don't have a UK citizenship. Great!)
